White Buffalo + Sterling Silver Cuff // alongside an absolutely ‘no skips’ record from The Lostines

I set out to make this cuff using a vintage white opal that was never stabilized. My boyfriend’s mom had gifted me a handful of opals that her father had cut himself & I wanted to make something special enough to hold it. Once the cuff was fully polished, I picked up the stone to set it and it cracked into tiny pieces 🥲 I though I would have to remake the bezel completely but before I gave up I tried these white buffalo stones that by some magic are the exact same size & shape. A literal miracle since the opals were all different & not cut to standard sizes. I still have to make something special for the opals - but the signs are telling me to not make it a cuff. This white buffalo is more durable and will hold up better ✌🏼
